What's Happening?
Cecilie Bahnsen has introduced her Resort 2027 collection, featuring a unique blend of floral motifs inspired by 1920s gardening books and her own flower beds. The collection emphasizes hybrid tea roses, symbolizing the fusion of different elements to
create something new. Bahnsen has scaled up the embroidered rose motif to serve as both a textural and graphic element in her designs. The collection includes airy and sculptural dresses and skirts, with innovative layering techniques that add novelty to familiar silhouettes. Notable pieces include a sequined sheath worn over a striped shirtdress and a sheer white frock layered over an acid neon green slip. Bahnsen also experiments with materials, using traditional evening fabrics for sporty windbreakers and drawstring skirts.
