Atlas Search is actively recruiting for a Director of Financial Reporting in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This hybrid role is within a growing, privately held consumer-focused organization that manages a diversified portfolio of brands across
multiple entities and revenue streams. The successful candidate will work closely with the Controller and senior management, taking responsibility for financial reporting, consolidations, technical accounting, audit support, and the integration of newly acquired businesses. Key responsibilities include overseeing the consolidation of financial results, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, and preparing and reviewing financial statement disclosures. The role also involves partnering with external auditors, leading management and stakeholder reporting, and preparing financial reporting materials for Board presentations. Additionally, the Director will develop and enhance financial reporting policies, research technical accounting matters, monitor new accounting standards, and lead finance transition processes for acquisitions. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, with a CPA highly preferred, along with 6-12+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience, including a minimum of three years in public accounting.
