Lufthansa Technik Philippines has announced the establishment of a new widebody aircraft maintenance facility at Clark International Airport in Southeast Asia. This decision follows a comprehensive evaluation of potential sites in the region, ultimately
choosing Clark due to its strategic location and proximity to the existing Manila facility. The new site, scheduled to open in the first half of 2028, will complement the Manila facility by expanding Lufthansa Technik's capacity to service a range of aircraft, including Boeing 787s and Airbus A350s. The Clark facility will be able to accommodate up to nine widebody aircraft and will include a paint shop and various workshops.
