What's Happening?
Faith and Light, a ministry founded in France in the 1970s, is expanding its presence in the U.S. to support families with developmental disabilities. Del and Anne Boland, coordinators of the Maryland chapter, share their journey with the organization,
which began after moving to the Washington, DC area with their autistic son. The ministry offers faith formation and community support, providing a stable environment for families. Despite challenges, such as balancing ecumenical outreach with Catholic roots, Faith and Light continues to grow, aiming to establish more communities across the U.S.
