The Juneau Community Foundation has announced the opening of its 2026 application period for the Artist Awards program, which will remain open until August 15. The program offers individual artists or groups up to $5,000 to support the creation of original
works across various art forms, including visual arts, dance, music, and more. Since its inception in 2020, the program has distributed over $145,000 to artists, fostering a vibrant arts community in Juneau. The foundation's Arts Vibrancy Endowment aims to maintain Juneau's status as a leading arts community, despite challenges in public funding.
