Amazon has recently raised the prices of several of its popular electronics, including Kindles, Echos, and Fire TVs, by as much as 60%. An Amazon spokesperson attributed these price adjustments to "significant increases in memory and storage component

The largest increases were observed in Amazon's more affordable, entry-level electronics. For instance, the Echo Dot smart speaker saw a 60% price jump from $50 to $80, while the starter Kindle and Fire TV Stick HD experienced increases of 36% and 14%, respectively. Notably, Amazon's Ring doorbell cameras and the $220 Echo Studio smart speaker were exempt from these price adjustments, though most other Echo products saw increases ranging from 10% to 60%.
