Vista Equity Partners, a global technology investor specializing in enterprise software, has announced the winners of its 9th Annual North America and Global Hackathons. These competitions brought together 59 teams and over 275 participants from more
than 30 Vista portfolio companies. The hackathons focused on the rapid advancement of agentic AI in enterprise software, challenging participants to either reimagine core business functions as multi-agent AI systems (North America) or engineer reliable, cost-effective multi-agent systems for existing workflows (Global). The North America Hackathon also included 16 students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who collaborated with the portfolio teams, with Amazon Web Services, HCLTech, and Dell Technologies sponsoring the event. Submissions were judged on innovation, feasibility, business impact, vision, and presentation clarity.
