The founder of Hong Lim Curry Puff, Victoria Loh, confirmed the incident occurred on August 31, noting that the man attempted to pay with WeChat Pay or AliPay, which her store does not accept. Meituan's customer service personnel, in response to queries via their app's chatbot, explicitly denied supporting such cross-border ordering methods or providing any international services.
