What's Happening?
Chase has announced significant changes to its Sapphire Lounge access policies, effective August 15, 2026. The bank will remove Priority Pass and LoungeKey members' access to its Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations, which are present in nine U.S. airports.
Previously, these members could visit once per year for free and pay $75 for additional visits. Despite this change, Priority Pass members will still have access to over 1,900 other lounges worldwide. For Chase cardholders, particularly those with the Chase Sapphire Reserve, access remains unchanged, with the added benefit of extended access for connecting flights, allowing entry up to five hours before departure.
