White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) has announced a significant expansion of the Danvers 1 copper system at its Rae Copper Project in Nunavut, Canada. Recent drilling has extended copper mineralization along
the Teshierpi structural corridor to 4.75 kilometers of strike, a substantial increase from the previously identified 820 meters. Key drilling results include 17 meters at 1.41% copper (Cu) and 12 grams per tonne silver (Ag) from 194 meters, and 14.5 meters at 1.49% Cu from 166.5 meters, which contained a higher-grade section of 3 meters at 3.96% Cu and 18g/t Ag. Another drill hole located 2.5 kilometers northeast of the core Danvers 1 area also intersected 24.75 meters at 0.43% Cu from 110.5 meters, including 5 meters at 1.21% Cu. Managing Director Troy Whittaker stated that these results demonstrate that high-grade copper is not confined to the original Danvers 1 core, transforming the perceived scale of the deposit. The company plans to fast-track infill drilling to establish geometry and continuity, with assays still pending for one hole that showed over 40 meters of copper-sulphide bearing core.
