The Atlantic City Council has officially approved the plans, specifications, and contract form for the West 7th Street Extension Project. This infrastructure development is specifically designed to serve a new manufacturing facility for Mudslayer Manufacturing.
Dave Sturm of Snyder and Associates clarified that the project involves extending West 15th Street to provide access to Mudslayer Manufacturing's new 13,920-square-foot building. This facility, located on the southwest edge of Atlantic, west of Sunnyside Lane and east of SW 7th Street, behind Hoffman's new veterinary care center, will function as an assembly site for parts produced at two other Iowa locations. The establishment of this new facility is projected to create between five and ten new jobs in the area.
