Sydney Schoeck, a swimmer from CSP Tideriders and a future Texas Longhorn, achieved a new personal best in the women's 200 fly at the Columbia Sectional. Schoeck clocked a time of 2:12.24, significantly improving her previous best by 5.04 seconds. The
event, held at the Mizzou Aquatics Center in Columbia, MO, saw several notable performances. Nebraska's Gena Jorgenson won the women's 400 free with a time of 4:12.21, just shy of her personal best. Meanwhile, 13-year-old Autumn McIntosh from Berzerker Swimming in Arkansas placed third in the same event, setting a new personal best. Rising Tennessee freshman Whitaker Steward also set a new personal best in the men's 400 free with a time of 3:55.99.
