What's Happening?
Boomerang Industrial has commenced site work on the STX Frio project, a significant cold storage warehouse located in Schertz, Texas. This 325,274-square-foot facility is being developed in partnership with Marble Capital and is slated for completion
in the fourth quarter of 2027. Positioned strategically less than half a mile from Interstate 35, the warehouse aims to serve the San Antonio and Austin markets while also providing access to Port Laredo. The facility is designed to support various functions including freezer and cooler storage, food processing, and distribution. It offers flexibility in leasing, accommodating either a single tenant or multiple tenants. Key features of the warehouse include a 50-foot clear-height, an 80-foot-deep cold dock, 42 dock positions, and advanced infrastructure such as LED lighting and a Tyco Quell dry-fire sprinkler system.
