Ram has announced the addition of official supercharger kits for its 1500 Rumble Bee pickups, enhancing their performance capabilities. The kits, part of Mopar's Direct Connection catalog, include a 3.0-liter twin-screw blower that boosts the 5.7-liter
trucks to approximately 600 horsepower, while the 6.4-liter models exceed 700 hp. The SRT model's 6.2-liter Hellcat engine is upgraded to over 900 hp. The supercharger kits are priced at $10,995 and come with a five-year/60,000-mile warranty if installed by an ASE-certified Mopar technician. Additional performance enhancements include a suspension package and a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system.
Why It's Important?
The introduction of these performance kits signifies Ram's commitment to catering to enthusiasts seeking high-performance trucks. This move could strengthen Ram's position in the competitive truck market, appealing to consumers interested in both power and customization. The availability of these kits through Mopar's Direct Connection catalog also highlights the growing trend of manufacturers offering factory-backed performance upgrades, which can enhance vehicle value and customer satisfaction. This development may influence other automakers to expand their performance parts offerings.
What's Next?
The performance kits will be available alongside the respective vehicle models, with the Rumble Bee arriving in late 2026 and the Rumble Bee 392 and SRT in early 2027. Customers interested in these upgrades will need to plan their purchases and installations accordingly. The market response to these enhancements will be closely monitored, potentially impacting future product offerings and development strategies by Ram and other manufacturers.
