What's Happening?
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced a new collection of 56 shore excursions and five multi-day pre- and post-cruise land programs for the 2026 Holiday season in Europe. These offerings will be available on select cruises aboard the Seven Seas Navigator,
Seven Seas Voyager, and the maiden voyage of Seven Seas Prestige. The excursions will feature festive experiences such as Christmas markets, seasonal cuisine, and local traditions across various European destinations. The all-inclusive Regent voyage fare includes many of these excursions, with additional Regent Choice excursions starting at $119 per guest. The new land programs, exclusive to Seven Seas Navigator itineraries, will visit festive markets in cities like Barcelona, Rome, and Tuscany, with prices starting at $2,399 per guest. Onboard, guests will enjoy a holiday-themed atmosphere with Christmas trees, floral arrangements, gingerbread villages, and holiday-themed performances.
Why It's Important?
This expansion of holiday-themed excursions by Regent Seven Seas Cruises highlights the growing demand for unique and immersive travel experiences during the holiday season. By offering these specialized excursions, the cruise line aims to attract travelers seeking to explore European culture and traditions in a festive setting. This move could enhance the appeal of cruising as a holiday travel option, potentially boosting the cruise industry's revenue during a typically slower travel period. Additionally, the focus on all-inclusive packages and exclusive land programs may attract a more affluent clientele, further solidifying Regent's position in the luxury cruise market.
