Sage Potash has commenced drilling operations at its Sage Plain Potash Project located in Utah. The drilling began on July 8, targeting the cycle 18 potash horizon at a depth of approximately 2,100 meters. This initiative involves drilling a 1.275-kilometer
stepout hole from the initial hole used to calculate the current resource. The project aims to conduct continuous core recovery for laboratory assays to determine potash grades and thicknesses, with analyses being conducted at the SRC Laboratory in Saskatoon. The results from these analyses will be crucial for upgrading resource estimates as the project progresses towards engineering and development. Additionally, the core samples will be examined for geo-mechanical properties to aid in mine design, and hydrogeological testing will be performed to evaluate potential water supply. According to CEO Pat Varas, this drilling marks a significant milestone in the project's development, following months of planning and execution.
