Engineering and defense contractor KBR is strategically positioning its digital engineering, space surveillance, and missile-defense businesses to compete for work on the Golden Dome project. This initiative, planned under the Trump administration, aims

KBR has increased its internal investment in areas such as modeling, simulation, and secure facilities to support the integration and testing of components for this defense architecture. The company has also promoted Daniel Dant, a former Air Force commander, to vice president of strategic initiatives to lead its efforts in pursuing Golden Dome opportunities. Jay Lennon, president of KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions division, will oversee the strategy. KBR is among the companies selected for the Missile Defense Agency’s SHIELD contract, which supports Golden Dome and other missile-defense programs.
