What's Happening?
The Waldorf Astoria brand is set to expand its luxury hospitality offerings with a new property in Miami Beach, scheduled to open in winter 2027. Hilton and Reuben Brothers have entered into a management agreement to convert the existing W South Beach hotel
into the Waldorf Astoria Miami Beach. This transformation will involve a comprehensive renovation and repositioning of the property, which is located on Collins Avenue, offering direct beach access and views of the Atlantic Ocean and Miami skyline. The 20-story hotel will feature 348 suites, each with ocean views and balconies. The renovation plans include a redesigned lobby, a new food and beverage program, a curated spa and wellness experience, an enhanced fitness center, and improvements to the pool deck with private cabanas. The property will also offer revitalized indoor and outdoor event spaces. Upon completion, the hotel will be managed by Hilton and will join the Waldorf Astoria's global portfolio of 40 properties, participating in the Hilton Honors guest-loyalty program.
