BYD is set to launch its new flagship sedan, the Seal 08, on July 2. The vehicle is part of BYD's Ocean lineup and features the latest generation of the Blade Battery, which allows for rapid charging from 10% to 97% in just 9 minutes. The Seal 08 is equipped
with BYD's DiSus-A body control system, which replaces traditional coil springs with adjustable air springs to dynamically adjust the vehicle's ride height, stiffness, and aerodynamics based on driving conditions. Additional features include zero-gravity seats, ventilation, heating, and massage functions, electric soft-close doors, and double-layer acoustic glass. The Seal 08 will be available in both a full electric version and a plugin hybrid DM-i version. Pre-orders are already open, and the vehicle is reportedly available in dealer stores across 20 Chinese cities.
