Baker Hughes and Venture Global LNG are significantly expanding their collaboration to enhance critical U.S. natural gas infrastructure. Baker Hughes has secured substantial orders to provide gas compression
systems for the Cloud Connector Pipeline project in Louisiana and a modular liquefaction solution, including cold boxes, to support the expansion of Venture Global's Plaquemines LNG facility. The pipeline award involves 13 gas compression systems driven by Frame 5/2E gas turbines, marking one of the largest deployments for LNG feed gas transportation in the United States. This system will ensure reliable and efficient transport of feed gas to the Plaquemines facility. Additionally, Baker Hughes will supply four liquefaction blocks, comprising eight liquefaction modules, to boost LNG production capacity at Plaquemines LNG. This is the second order for Frame 5/2E gas turbine-driven centrifugal compressor packages for Venture Global’s feed gas pipeline, increasing the total fleet to 23 systems for the Plaquemines LNG facility.
