The Rochester Knighthawks, a National Lacrosse League (NLL) team, have officially signed forward Jake Rosa to a three-year contract. This agreement is pending league approval. Rosa, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound lefty forward, joins the Knighthawks after a notable
five-year collegiate career at St. Bonaventure University. During his time at St. Bonaventure, he distinguished himself as a key player, accumulating 72 goals and 50 assists in 50 career games. He earned First Team All-Conference honors as a sophomore and junior, and was recognized as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Offensive Player of the Year during his sophomore season. Additionally, he was selected to the MAAC All-Championship Team. Rosa holds the second-highest all-time records for goals, assists, and points at St. Bonaventure. In the summers preceding his signing, he played for the Owen Sound North Stars of Major Series Lacrosse, where he recorded one goal and eight assists in 15 games. He was previously drafted by the Buffalo Bandits in 2023 but was released in 2025 before playing an NLL game.
