What's Happening?
Honeywell Aerospace has introduced the iTALIN 550, a new vehicle positioning system, at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026. This system is an upgrade from the previous TALIN 500, featuring enhanced navigation and alignment capabilities. Developed
in collaboration with Civitanavi Systems in Italy, the iTALIN 550 utilizes fibre optic gyro technology and offers features such as anti-jamming, anti-spoofing, and scalable architecture. It is designed for ground vehicles and is free from US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) restrictions. Full-scale production is set to begin in early 2027.
