The Brookhaven Kennel Club held its second dog show of the year on July 11, 2026, in Middle Island, NY. The event featured a total entry of 208 dogs across various breeds. The Best in Show was awarded to GCHS Bagatelle Moonday Good Morning, an Old English
Sheepdog handled by Cliff Steele and owned by R Corbett and B & J Charest. The Reserve Best in Show went to GCHG Celestial’s Fly Me To The Moon, a Boston Terrier handled by Margaret Noble. The show included several categories judged by different judges, such as Mr. Gordon William Hayburn and Ms. Sylvia T Barkey, covering sporting, hound, working, terrier, toy, non-sporting, and herding groups.
