For the first time in its history, the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championships will hold the finals for all three divisions (Division I, II, and III) at a single site. Towson University, located in the Baltimore metropolitan area, will host the 2027 championships
at Johnny Unitas Stadium from May 28-30. Following this, Subaru Park in Philadelphia, home of the MLS franchise, will host the 2028 championships. This decision was made after discussions among the Division I, II, and III Women’s Lacrosse Committees, who believe that consolidating the finals will benefit the sport by showcasing all levels of collegiate women's lacrosse in one event. The format will see Division I semifinals on Friday, Division II and III national title games on Saturday, and the Division I championship game on Sunday.
