Eleanor Carr, a beloved community member, passed away on June 15, 2026. Her funeral service is scheduled for June 25, 2026, at Greater Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, with interment at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. Eleanor is survived by her sons,
Michael and Edwin Carr, and her grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Carr, and other family members. In her memory, the family encourages donations to the Clint Bryant Student-Athlete Scholarship Endowment at Augusta University, supporting student-athletes.
