West Natuna Exploration, a subsidiary of Conrad Asia Energy, has signed a contract for a mobile offshore production unit (MOPU) to develop the Mako Gas Field in the Natuna Sea, Indonesia. The agreement with PT Duta Marine/PT Pakarti Tirtoagung includes
engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) services. The contract features a nine-year bareboat charter with options for extensions, ensuring long-term revenue and stable cash flow. The Mako project involves six development wells connected to the MOPU, with gas transported via a pipeline to the Indonesian domestic market. Conrad's capital expenditure for the project is estimated at $80 million.
