REV Renewables has commissioned the Tumbleweed Energy Storage facility in Kern County, California, marking a significant milestone as the state's first eight-hour battery energy storage system. Developed in partnership with Ava Community Energy and California Community Power,

The facility is designed to shift solar energy generated during the day to power homes and businesses overnight, reducing emissions and strengthening grid reliability.
