What's Happening?
The University of Central Florida (UCF) is launching the Space Hospitality Student Challenge, inviting students from various disciplines to design innovative solutions for space tourism. This initiative is in response to the growing interest in civilian
spaceflight, driven by companies like SpaceX, Axiom Space, and Blue Origin. The challenge encourages students to balance survival, comfort, and extraordinary guest experiences in space. Participants will work in cross-disciplinary teams, including hospitality, engineering, business, and design students, to create concepts that could evolve into research projects or startups. The challenge is set to begin in the fall semester, with registration opening soon.
