Elea Data Centers, in collaboration with AXIA Energia, is set to launch the Amazon region's first AI-neutral data center in Belém, Brazil. This facility will be powered entirely by renewable energy and is expected to begin operations in the second quarter
of 2027 with an initial capacity of 7.5 MW. Concurrently, ByteDance has commenced construction on a $38.4 billion data center at the Pecém port complex in Ceará, Brazil. This center will initially have a capacity of 200 MW, with potential expansion to nearly 1 GW, making it ByteDance's largest facility outside China.
