Best Friend Forever has secured international sales rights to the Malayalam-language vampire revenge action-thriller 'Half,' which is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival's (TIFF) Midnight Madness section. This acquisition marks
a significant crossover for Indian genre cinema, as it lands a European sales agent and a Midnight Madness slot ahead of its domestic release. 'Half' is produced by Fragrant Nature Film Creations and directed by Samjad, co-written with Praveen Viswanath. The film stars Ranjith Sajeev, Aiswarya Raj, Abbas, and Amala Paul. It follows twin half-blooded vampires as they battle desert highway hijackers in a martial arts Indian western. The film's choreography is led by Very Tri Yulisman, known for his work on 'The Raid 2.'
