The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is set to present a reading of 'All the Way' as part of its 'Revolutionary Voices' series, which celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of The Declaration
of Independence. The event will take place on July 27 at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre at Drew University in Madison. 'All the Way,' a play by Robert Schenkkan, focuses on President Lyndon B. Johnson's efforts to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964, with The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. as one of his allies. The play originally ran on Broadway in 2014 and won the Tony Award for Best Play. Sherman Howard and R.J. Foster will star as Johnson and King, respectively.
