Why It's Important?

The partnership with IHG Hotels and Resorts highlights the increasing presence of international hotel brands in India, aiming to offer integrated accommodation, dining, and event experiences. The development is expected to boost local employment and contribute to the region's economic growth by attracting both domestic and international tourists.
What's Next?
The Aarlis Hotel plans to open its rooftop dining destination, Sky VI, in September, further enhancing its hospitality offerings. The hotel is positioned to become a leading luxury destination in the Chandigarh Tricity region, potentially setting a precedent for future luxury developments in similar emerging markets. The success of this venture could encourage other international hotel brands to explore opportunities in India's growing hospitality sector.
