Red Bull Racing & Technology, Red Bull Powertrains, and Red Bull Advanced Technologies are currently inviting applications for an Industrial Placement position within their Research & Development Department, specifically in Thermal Engineering. This placement
is designed for students currently undertaking higher education who will be returning to their studies for at least one year after the placement. The role involves developing new test rigs, running experiments to determine material thermal properties, and validating thermal systems and cooling solutions for their Formula 1 cars. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the race team by analyzing live track data of thermal systems during race weekends and work on various projects covering different car systems, including brakes and cooling circuits. The placement is for one year, commencing in the summer of 2027, and requires applicants to submit both a CV and a one-page cover letter.
