Western Illinois University (WIU) is finalizing its team for the upcoming debut season of the Goldfarb Center for Performing Arts. The university has announced key leadership and support staff appointments as the 100,000-square-foot facility prepares
to open this fall. The newly appointed team includes Interim Director Mick Cumbie, Technical Director Todd Meyers, Assistant Technical Director Alejandro Solis, and Administrative Assistant Noelle Lindem. The Goldfarb Center is designed to support academic programs in Theatre, Music, and Dance, while also serving as a premier venue for various performances, productions, and community events. Mick Cumbie, who assumed the interim director role on June 1, brings extensive experience from his previous roles in development for WIU's College of Fine Arts and Communication and leadership positions at other universities. The center represents the first new state-funded academic building at WIU in over 40 years.
