Seiko has introduced a new limited edition watch collection, the Presage Classic Series, celebrating the beauty of Tomioka Silk. The collection includes a limited edition model priced at $1,150 and three regular-production models priced at $950 each.
The watches feature silk-inspired dials, pink-gold-colored stainless-steel cases, and dark brown leather straps. A portion of the proceeds will support the Tomioka Silk Promotion Organization, which aims to sustain the region's sericulture industry and preserve Japan's silk-making heritage.
