The Sugar Grove Corn Boil, a longstanding community festival, is set to commence on Thursday, July 23, at Volunteer Park in Sugar Grove. This annual event, organized by local volunteers, has been a staple in the community for nearly 60 years. This year,
the festival will honor the United States' 250th anniversary and collaborate with the American Legion to support veteran mental health through the 'Be the One' campaign and K9s for Veterans. Attendees can purchase red, white, and blue light-up bracelets and glow sticks, with proceeds benefiting these causes. The festival will feature carnival rides, a vendor market, bingo sessions, musical entertainment, fireworks, and a car show. Notably, an unlimited ride bracelet will be available for $35. The event is expected to draw up to 35,000 visitors over four days, with free admission.
