Radford University's golfers have been recognized by the Big South Conference for their performances in events played from October 1-7. One player from Radford was named the Big South Men's Golfer of the Week, while a teammate received the Men's Freshman
of the Week honor. The Golfer of the Week placed eighth at the Testudo Cup, a par 72, 7,099-yard course, with a 1-under par 215 (75-73-67). This marked his first career Top 10 finish, with his final round 67 being a collegiate low that moved him up 17 spots on the leaderboard. He recorded 13 birdies and an eagle on the 483-yard No. 8 hole, excelling on par-5 holes and tying for third in par-4 scoring. The Freshman of the Week tied for ninth at the Testudo Cup with an even-par 216 (72-72-72), achieving his second Top 10 finish in four starts this fall. He tallied 10 birdies and two eagles, and was 7-under on par-5 layouts.
