What's Happening?
Lucid Art Gallery in the Miami Design District is set to host CHROMA 2026, an exhibition featuring over 22 international artists, as part of Miami Art Week. The event will kick off with an opening reception on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM
to 7:00 PM, and the exhibition will run until December 16, 2026. Admission to the opening reception is free with an RSVP. The exhibition, curated by Argentine artist Graciela Montich, is organized around the concept of 'CONSTELLATIONS,' exploring the relationships between diverse artworks. Artists will showcase works across various mediums, including abstract and contemporary painting, figurative and representational painting, fine-art photography, mixed media, textural art, sculpture, and functional art. The event will also feature live music by Good Moraale, a project led by Caleb Jerome Morales, joined by his brother Aaron Morales, to enhance the artistic experience.
Why It's Important?
CHROMA 2026 contributes significantly to Miami Art Week by offering a free and accessible platform for both established and emerging international artists. This initiative by Lucid Art Gallery, established in 2021, reinforces Miami's role as a global hub for contemporary art and cultural exchange. By providing a space for artists to connect with collectors, designers, and the public, the exhibition fosters community engagement and promotes artistic dialogue. The inclusion of diverse artistic styles and mediums, from traditional painting to functional art and photography, reflects the evolving landscape of contemporary art. Furthermore, the event's free admission makes high-quality art accessible to a broader audience, democratizing the art experience during one of the most prominent art events in the U.S.
What's Next?
Following the opening reception on December 2, CHROMA 2026 will remain on view at Lucid Art Gallery until December 16, allowing ample time for visitors to experience the diverse collection of works. The gallery anticipates continued engagement from art enthusiasts, collectors, and the general public throughout the exhibition period. Lucid Art Gallery owner Payal Tak and curator Graciela Montich are available for interviews, suggesting ongoing media coverage and discussions around the exhibition. The success of CHROMA 2026 could further solidify Lucid Art Gallery's reputation as a key venue during Miami Art Week, potentially leading to future collaborations and expanded programming in subsequent years.

This interdisciplinary approach reflects a shift in how art is consumed and appreciated, moving beyond static viewing to dynamic engagement.
