Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev recently met with Bulgarian diplomats in New York to discuss the company's connections with Bulgaria and Europe. The discussions focused on the contributions of Bulgarian professionals to the U.S. fintech industry and potential
collaborations with Sofia's Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT). Tenev, who was born in Bulgaria and raised in the United States, also engaged with Bulgarian communities in New York and Washington, D.C., expressing interest in meeting Bulgarian entrepreneurs. The meeting was attended by Consul General Angel Angelov, Bulgaria's Chargé d'Affaires ad interim in Washington, D.C., Stefka Yovcheva, and Chloe Barz, Robinhood's Head of International Government and External Affairs.
