to 85 in Japan. Participants were divided into three groups, with two groups consuming bread enriched with different strains of maitake mushrooms, while a control group consumed bread without mushrooms. The study found that those consuming the Y10M strain of maitake mushrooms showed significant improvement in memory recall, as measured by the Montreal Cognitive Assessment.
