What's Happening?
Adara Technologies and Aurora Networks have introduced a new hosted and managed platform aimed at helping smaller operators upgrade their networks to support DOCSIS and PON. This initiative targets tier 2, 3, and 4 operators who lack the internal resources
to economically transition to a distributed access architecture. Adara will manage the platform, leveraging its existing back-office systems developed for video platforms. Aurora Networks will supply access products, including remote PHY devices and PON optical line terminals. The partnership aims to lower entry costs for smaller operators by consolidating resources.

The platform offers smaller operators a cost-effective solution to upgrade their networks, which is crucial as they face similar challenges to larger operators in terms of network modernization. By providing a shared infrastructure, Adara and Aurora can reduce capital and operational expenses for these operators, enabling them to remain competitive in the broadband market. What's Next?
Adara and Aurora plan to showcase their platform at The Independent Show, an event hosted by the National Content & Technology Cooperative (NCTC) and ACA Connects. Proposals are already being presented to select Adara customers, with potential deals expected later this year. The partnership is poised to expand Adara's customer base, targeting hundreds of operators within the NCTC and other tier 2, 3, and 4 telcos.
