Kendrick Resources PLC has announced significant drilling results from its Teufelskuppe Carbonatite Complex in Namibia. The company reported a standout intercept of 3.05% light rare earth oxides (LREO) over 37.9 meters from surface in drill hole TKDD006.
Additional drill holes, TKDD007, TKDD009, and TKDD005, also yielded substantial intersections, including 31.58 meters at 2.33% LREO and 16.4 meters at 2.51% LREO. These results span three mineralized sills (TK3, TK4, and TK5) and indicate strong continuity and consistent grades across the Teufelskuppe system. The company emphasizes that the rare earth mineralization occurs over broad widths, rather than being confined to narrow high-grade zones. This follows recent positive mineralogical and metallurgical studies confirming that over 95% of the project's rare earth content is hosted in minerals amenable to established processing routes. Furthermore, previous assays have shown low concentrations of thorium and uranium, which could simplify processing and reduce environmental and cost challenges.
