Prominence Energy has finalized negotiations for a native title agreement concerning four petroleum exploration license applications in South Australia's Gawler region. The agreement, involving Prominence's subsidiaries Cryptid Clean Energy and Gehyra
Holdings, is set to be executed with the Arabana Aboriginal Corporation. This Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) is crucial for advancing the applications for PELA 566, PELA 581, PELA 752, and PELA 753, covering 19,889 km². The negotiations, which took four years, are a significant step towards securing the Northern Hinge acreage, part of the Gawler Helium and Natural Hydrogen Project.

A revised drilling engineering and cost review is scheduled for October. The company aims to commence drilling in mid-2027, contingent on license awards, technical results, and regulatory approvals. Prominence's existing cash reserves will fund the planned technical work and detailed drilling program planning throughout 2026.
