The Western Michigan Broncos volleyball team has swept the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Player of the Week honors. Annalise Patchett was named Offensive Player of the Week, Gabby Weihe received Defensive Player of the Week, and Leah Richmond earned Setter
of the Week. Patchett, an outside hitter, led the Broncos with 24 kills and a .351 hitting percentage in straight-set victories over Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan. She recorded 16 kills against Central Michigan and eight kills, six blocks, and five digs against Eastern Michigan. Weihe, a middle blocker, anchored the defense with 11.0 blocks, limiting opponents to a combined .063 hitting percentage. Her performance against Eastern Michigan included a career-high nine rejections, contributing to the Broncos tying their season high with 13 blocks. Richmond, a redshirt sophomore, achieved two double-doubles, totaling 65 assists and 20 digs across the two matches. She handed out 42 helpers against Central Michigan and 23 assists, 10 digs, four blocks, and two aces against Eastern Michigan.
