What's Happening?
Bottega Veneta is presenting 'Björk: Echolalia,' an exhibition at the National Gallery of Iceland in Reykjavik, running from May 30 to September 20, 2026. The exhibition features three large-scale audiovisual installations by the Icelandic artist Björk,
including reinterpretations of works from her album 'Fossora' (2022) and a new installation based on her upcoming musical project. This marks Björk's debut wearing creations by Bottega Veneta's creative director, Louise Trotter. The exhibition is supported by Bottega Veneta, which is also backing 'Nerve Bloom,' a film created by Björk in collaboration with Natalia Kleszczewska and Natalie Liu. The exhibition explores themes such as ancestry, grief, renewal, and artistic experimentation through sound, image, and immersive technology.
