The Off-Beat Players, a fully inclusive theater company for teens and young adults of all abilities, is set to present the musical 'Footloose' at the Greenwich Country Day School. The performances are scheduled for July 30, 31, and August 1, with each
show starting at 7:30 pm. The production is being held at the school's performing arts center, located at 401 Old Church Rd in Greenwich. 'Footloose' is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals and features a stage adaptation by Dean Pitchford and Walter Bobbie, based on the original screenplay by Dean Pitchford. The music is composed by Tom Snow, with lyrics by Dean Pitchford and additional music by Eric Carmen, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Loggins, and Jim Steinman. The cast includes Ned Davis as Ren McCormack, Sarah Mickley as Ethel McCormack, and Cos DeFelice as Rev. Shaw Moore, among others. The production team is led by Executive Director Kim Malara and Artistic Director Stephanie Gilston.
