What's Happening?
A professional counselor and former Director of Religious Education is offering an online workshop to address spiritual abuse within the Catholic Church. The workshop aims to help individuals recognize, prevent, and respond to spiritual abuse and abuse of conscience.
It is designed for those who have experienced spiritual abuse, clergy and lay leaders seeking to safeguard their communities, and therapists working with affected individuals. The workshop will cover symptoms of spiritual abuse, religious trauma, and moral injury, providing tools to better understand and address abusive systems within the Church.
