Polaris Renewable Energy Inc., headquartered in Toronto, Canada, is actively expanding its renewable energy projects across Latin America and the Caribbean. The company operates an 82 MW geothermal facility in Nicaragua, three hydroelectric facilities
in Peru with a combined capacity of 33 MW, a 25 MW solar plant in the Dominican Republic, a 6 MW hydroelectric facility in Ecuador, and a 10 MW solar plant in Panama. Formerly known as Polaris Infrastructure Inc., the company rebranded in July 2022 to reflect its focus on renewable energy.
