The Indian government has announced an extension for the exemption of net metering and open access renewable energy projects from the Approved List of Models & Manufacturers (ALMM)-II compliance until December 31, 2026. This decision provides an additional
seven months for these projects to commission without adhering to the ALMM List-II requirements for solar photovoltaic cells.
