What's Happening?
Eldorado Gold has commenced the commissioning phase of its Skouries copper-gold project in northern Greece. This marks the first processing of ore through the crushing circuit, indicating that the front-end processing systems are operational. The project is nearing
the end of its construction phase, with plans to start producing copper-gold concentrate in the third quarter of 2026. Commercial production is expected to follow in the subsequent quarter. The commissioning process involves wet and dry activities across various on-site circuits, including grinding and flotation. Eldorado Gold has also installed additional generators to support these activities while awaiting full energisation of the site.
